Luke shares his apprenticeship experienceHello followers,

I am back to work this morning after a well deserved brilliant weekend filled full of parties, shopping and driving lessons!

Last week I had two days of training and meetings which as you can imagine was manic! One of which was a company communication and self-assessment day which gave us a chance to find out more about Baltic Training and it was a chance for staff to give feedback on what is going well and what we think needs improvement.   I feel that this was a brilliant opportunity to get a bigger insight into Baltic Training and give feedback on how it operates (Which was all good!).

I also felt that it was a good opportunity as an apprentice to mingle with other staff members and build some more work relationships with people that had travelled from our training centres in Sunderland, Preston, Leeds, and Manchester.

This week I am prepared for a busy week at work.  I should receive my Equality & Diversity Champions Certificate and may well hear back from the National Apprenticeships Service, with regards to my video and their competition as mentioned in previous blogs. I also look forward to getting on with a few more driving lessons, and a staff outing to an Indian cuisine restaurant in Darlington with the apprenticeships team from Baltic!

I look forward to seeing my trainer Kev this week as well to carry on with my apprenticeship framework and continue towards completion of my qualification.

Until then I will be busy working!

Look out for my next blog,

Luke
