On January 2nd 2013 the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) highlighted the continued popularity of Apprenticeships among both employers and the public. The figures show there were almost 1,127,000 Apprenticeships applications submitted and 106,510 apprenticeship vacancies advertised online in 2012.
